Tales of the Albatross! It was a gorgeous day on a small, secluded island. It's modest inhabitants were engaging in their usual duties: fishing, farming, selling their wares, whatever put bread on table. The children were playing and enjoying the warmth of the sun while seagulls overhead shot into the water to claim their meals. The village people were modest, hard-working, and were more than happy to serve their King and Empire.
It was really such a shame that the village was about half an hour away from being plundered by a fleet of renegade pirates.
Nearby, a vast ship was docked beside the island. The criminal pirates on-board were rushing to prepare for the imminent plunder, hauling empty crates onto the deck, eager to fill them with treasures, food, and alcohol. Wow, i hope that one day, everything i draw won't take me 8328954200 hours to finish i mean sERIOUSLY.

ANYWAYS YEAH OK NEW CHARACTER.

_{I don't have a name for her yet, so i'll just refer to her as "waspmonster" in this deviation.

I've had a concept in my head where waspmonster has a badass owner/bff and they're both ~*~*~extreme mailwomen~*~* and they travel the world delivering mail to isolated and dangerous places and yeah.

Waspmonster is very aggressive to most people, there is almost no way she won't be hostile towards any stranger she meets. She also doesn't end up liking many people, but when she does, she can be surprisingly co-operative and helpful. She is a very hard worker and will always see a task through that she has dedicated to, no matter the lengths she has to go to see it done.

The only person she considers her friend is her owner/guardian (who hasn't been named yet lmao woops). She is VERY protective over her, and almost acts like a big puppy around her. Waspmonster and her owner are almost always seen together, and when they're apart, waspmonster becomes very aggressive and despondent. She would gladly put her life on the line for her owner.

ALSO SOME NOTES ABOUT ANATOMY AND WASPMONSTER'S BIOLOGY, YES.
-Waspmonster is similar to a Yellow jacket worker; she is infertile, and she is actually small in size compared to most waspmonsters (I HAVEN'T THOUGHT UP HER SIZE YET BUT SHE'S A SHORTIE OK)
-The barb at the end of her tail can release a very lethal poison that can easily kill a person. If she produces more poison than she can contain, it will leak out from her mouth, barb, and small holes that line her abdomen (which i forgot to draw on woops). When she contains too much poison, she becomes more aggressive than usual.
-Despite her large size and intimidating appearance, waspmonster's main diet actually consists of nectar and fruit (which she eats with her upper mouth). She will eat meat though if there is nothing else available, which she consumes wit her lower jaw.
-Just like a normal yellow jacket, she has very small wings, yet still manages to fly.

I'm sorry if this information makes no sense, sighs. I'll draw up her owner later though :>
Also, for some reason I imagine her name being Gwen???? I haven't confirmed that, I imagine waspmonster's owner would give her a really embarrassing name though lmao}
