_{I'm still gonna spend all my time on art for packages, so here is a shitty ref sheet I spent 10 minutes on at school ur welcome

After everyone told me Sun Deity looks like Solrock, I realized I should really work to make these designs more original (they were right tho, it was an accident woops).
Moon Deity never looked like Lunatone so I didn't re-vamp it as much. I worked harder on Sun Deity, and I really like this design a lot more UuU

I still have no idea what these are Deities for. I kind of want to incorporate them with my world of Giant Bugs, but I'm not sure yet.

As I said before, Sun Deity (on the left (duh)) governs the sun, light, day, growth, life, warmth, and heat.
Moon Deity (on the right (double duh)) governs the moon, darkness, night, death, healing, and the cold.

Both the Sun and Moon Deity need each other in order to create balance. Without the Moon Deity, the Sun Deity would burn the world, and without the Sun Deity, the world would freeze over and it would plunge in darkness. The two are around as long as the sun and moon are around; they gain their power from them, and they cannot be killed because they're immortal spirit beings.

Their heads are possessed objects, as well as the floating objects that surround them; those things cannot change size, but the Deities can move them around and use them as weapons. Their bodies however are non-solid, constantly changing energy derived from the sun and moon; the Deities can compress, expand, and change this energy however they please. Illustrated above is a more human-like form they can take, as well as a more feral-like form they can change to.

The two Deities have a very close relationship. They both rely on each other to balance themselves, and they are sheer opposites that compliment each other. Sun Deity is viewed as warm, cheerful, energetic and short-tempered, while Moon Deity is quiet, reserved, mysterious, caring, and prone to sadness. Both have the relationship similar to best friends or partners, although it can be viewed as many different things. Sun Deity thrives in sunlight, while Moon Deity thrives in the darkness, but they still visit each other.
